September 12, 2023 - A group of 10 bright students from Kyushu University, Japan visited Bangladesh as a part of their research work on September 3-10, 2023, along with another 9 students joining online. They focused on micro-entrepreneurship, the impact of Artificial Intelligence on unemployment, and Grameen Bank's job creation philosophy.
The team met Nobel Laureate Prof. Muhammad Yunus and learned about his 3-Zeros concept. They also attended a workshop at Dhaka University and visited Grameen organizations, and factories, and met FinTech specialists. Finally, they presented their findings in a special event on September 11, 2023, at the residence of the Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. IWAMA Kiminori in his presence before returning to Japan.
